Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is best known for his performance in the movie 'Birdman. A versatile actor, he is able to perform comic and dramatic characters. Alongside characters with romantic appeal, he starred in action films and thrillers. As a teenager, he developed an interest in acting and performing. He then tried stand-up comedy in his teens. It did not go well, but it paved the way for his acting career. Since he wasn't able to succeed as an actor, he decided to become a television cameraman. When he was working in the station that he realized that the way he wanted to work was present in front of cameras. Then he landed a TV performance, and was in several seasons of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a naturally gifted actor, and quickly became a household name in the world of television. After having a successful movie career, his comedic performances brought him a lot of attention. His fame was further elevated by the acclaim he received for his portrayal of Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. In time the actor's acting abilities developed and he was able exploring the possibility of directing and production. The 2014 Birdman film won him a number of nominations and awards.
